


A “second wind” is often described in athletics as the moment a person pushes through exhaustion and begins to regain energy, focus, and endurance after feeling physically or mentally fatigued. At Second Wind Counseling and Mental Performance, we believe people can experience a similar process emotionally and mentally after stress, trauma, burnout, pressure, setbacks, and difficult seasons of life. Through therapy and mental performance work, individuals can rebuild confidence, strengthen resilience, improve mindset, and reconnect with purpose and direction. Our hope is that individuals, athletes, and high performers leave feeling more hopeful, grounded, restored, and confident in their ability to move forward with greater clarity and emotional strength.

I’m Tammera McClenton, LPC-S, a therapist and mental performance professional with over 10 years of experience helping individuals, athletes, and high performers navigate anxiety, trauma, emotional challenges, and life stress. I earned my Master’s degree in Christian Counseling and am passionate about helping people
